ENGEL Schedule Live Debut

ENGEL, the new Gothenburg, Sweden-based quintet featuring guitarists Marcus Sunesson (ex-THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (PASSENGER, ex-GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES),drummer Mojjo (RELEVANT FEW, DRACENA),bassist Robert Hakemo (ex-GARDENIAN, GOOSEFLESH) and vocalist Mangan Klavborn, will make their live debut on Friday, July 8 at the Dirty Black Summer Festival in Södertälje, Sweden. The band, who recorded a self-produced demo that Tue Madsen (MNEMIC, THE HAUNTED etc) mixed at Denmark's Antfarm studios in February, are currently working on new material which is "coming out real strong," according to a posting on the group's web site. New working songtitles include "Propaganda", "Shatterday" and "My Hero". In the meantime, you can still download a live performance video shot in the group's rehearsal room of a new track entitled "Someone Died (And Made You God)" at this location (Windows Media required). Another ENGEL demo track, entitled "Walk the Wounded", has been posted online at this location (MP3, 5 MB).
